Leo goes through some of Cassie's possessions and discovers that she has managed to obtain fake identification. This affects Leo deeply and he ends up being involved in the case despite the fact that he shouldn't. When a hit and run occurs in Sheffield, Theresa and Cassie are killed as a result. As a result of the strain, Theresa has an affair with Simon Rush.Īfter Sam resigned, Leo was promoted to her position. The move put a strain on his relationship with Theresa and this comes to a head when she and Cassie travel to London to visit Leo. Leo moved down from Sheffield to London to take up a post working underneath Sam Ryan. During his time, he was involved in the investigation of serial killer Karl Bentley. Leo initially worked as a pathologist in Sheffield. In 1992, they would have a daughter, Cassie. The two would remain good friends for the rest of Sean's life. Leo would eventually go to university and while there he met Sean Delaney. While in sixth form, he met Theresa and would begin a relationship with her. Leo was born in England in 1957 and grew up in Sheffield.
